This is overworld-rpg, an untitled experimental [overworld][] role-playing game engine. Written in C and designed to be visually pleasing, lightweight, and portable. Features a resource management system (with reference counting and garbage collection), [Tiled][] XML map parser, [GIMP][] palette parser, tile-based and layered world map renderer, realistic and efficient day/night [palette cycling][] system (with linear and cosine functions), and more.
